Summary: Annabel Green had everything, or so it seemed. She was the girl in the Kopf's Department Store ad. She and her best friend Sophie get invited to all the best parties, have all the best clothes and seem to have the best of everything. But something happens at one of those parties, and suddenly Annabel has nothing. Her friends, particularly Sophie, have deserted and her reputation is in the toilet. And it's not like her sisters are there for her; Kristen is busy in New York City and Whitney is busy battlinganorexia and has become shut off. When school starts, she's alone. During lunch, she sits with outcast Owen Armstrong who sits and listens to his iPod, never lies and is dealing with his anger management.
